Next on the '436'
is the sign we want.
It shows (left) that we are travelling
on '436' in direction North and that will take us to Downtown (Orlando). It's
over the left lane because that lane and any further left lanes go that
way.
There are now two exit signs, 1B & 1A. 1A goes
East on SR-528 before the bridge, not for us.
1B goes West on
SR-528 to Interstate 4 and therefore on to International Drive and
Interstate 4.
We want to
go towards 'I4', so miss 1A and get in the right lane after it, ready for 1B.
After 1A slow as much as is safe and keep right, let people who know where they are
pass on your left.
|
This is your first
manoeuvre
out on the open road, don't get too excited. You will go over the
'528' and take a long sweeping right down to the '528' heading West.
Indicate right from here.

 |
 |
This will be your
first 'clover leaf', take it easy.
The right lane is the slow lane. These
intersection curves have a nasty habit of tightening up...
As you get down to 528 after on this entrance, you need to merge left as
soon as possible.
|
Straight after joining the '528' you get a sign for the Toll Plaza. Co-pilot,
have that money ready - 75c. You can use up to a $20.00 bill.
If you have no cash, see here...
|
 |

|
The right hand
booths, with Green Signs, are 'CHANGE / RECEIPTS' lanes.
Pick these if you don't have the correct amount.
At July 2001 it is 75c.
