Activities Guide
Though most cities have their
activities... it is definitely an understatement when referring to
the greater Orlando area.
Our intention here is to focus on those things that are 'local' to
Kissimmee.

Whatever your interests are or the activities you enjoy, we'll do
our best to list them. For now, our Directory will begin with the
sub-groupings of
Fishing,
Swimming,
Jet Skiing, Horseback
Riding and one of our visitors firmest favourites -
Golfing.
Other than our sub-groupings Kissimmee has many local activities
both annual and seasonal -
Amongst these are the well manicured soccer fields of the
Austin-Tindall Olympic-Class Training Facility and the Osceola
County Softball Stadium, the Spring Training Facilities of both the
Atlanta Braves & Houston Astros Pro. Baseball Teams.
Seasonal local activities include the annual Plant City Strawberry
Festival, held each year in February/ March or you may enjoy a visit
to the Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival, generally held in the month of
May.
There is a weekly rodeo (just off US192 at Hoagland Blvd.) along
with the main competitions held every February.
