accidents or illness may happen even when you're on vacation. We
know this from our own personal experiences.
Though they're usually minor, attention may still be required
whether it's a cracked tooth or the scrapes & cuts that are usually
reserved for younger children.

Walk-in Clinics
Most convenient in the area are the Medical 'Walk-in Clinics' that
cater mostly to visitors in the area, these are generally found
scattered along US Hwy 192.

Doctors
If you want a Family Practice Medical Centre, you'll find most of
these near the City Centre.
In particular in and around Oak Street, which runs parallel with US
Hwy 192 from just past Thacker Ave to Michigan Ave.
The street is just south of the highway and will intersect at the
next junction, (usually after 1-block) anytime that you turn south
off of US Hwy 192 in this area.
Here, you will find most of the area family practices, specialists
and other medical related facilities of the area.

Dentists
For cosmetic tooth repairs while you wait, there's Mid Florida
Dentals Associates whose offices are located at 809 East Oak St.
We don't usually make recommendations for any of the services or
products listed in our directory. However, this is our American
Editor's Dentist and we've got to start someplace. Besides they
advertise a specific slogan that he is in complete agreement with,
"We Care For People Not Just Teeth".
Open 6 days a week (Saturdays, by Appointment Only), they also
accept emergency walk-ins, important to any vacationer !

Most Guest Service Agents will be
helpful in directing you to the nearest location, whether it be the
Front Desk Staff, the dedicated Guest Services Desk in the lobby of
your hotel or your Rental Home Agent.
Even though it seems their primary business is to try to sell you
attraction tickets, or book you on a resort tour. It's still their
primary function to help you. If you need their assistance, don't
feel alone, just ask.
